Introduction
A rule needs a threshold you already know. Most Meta teams stall one step earlier, on which creative to test next, and why that one before the other twenty.
Swapping one rules tool for another only helps if rules were the problem. If the stall is the creative decision, the fix is different, and it starts with knowing whether you are short of rules or of a test plan.
A rules problem is solved by software that acts on your ads. A creative-decision problem is solved by evidence ranked into an order, and the two products compared here sit on opposite sides of that line.
This page gives you Birch's price at its entry tier as of October 2026, five checks that show which job you are short of, and the jobs Birch covers that we do not. Deepsolv is one of the two products compared.
Key takeaways
- Choose Deepsolv if your bottleneck is deciding which Meta creative to test next. Choose a rules tool, either Birch or Meta's own rules, if your bottleneck is executing pause-and-scale conditions you already know.
- Birch's price follows total ad spend across every connected ad account, with Pro, the plan that lists automated rules, starting at $99 a month as of October 2026.
- Five checks on your last four weeks of ad work show whether you are short of rules or short of a creative test plan.
- We deliver ranked weekly creative test plans and execution-ready creative briefs for Meta ads.
Which Revealbot alternative fits a Meta team that needs a creative test plan?
We recommend Deepsolv to consumer brands, performance marketing teams, creative teams and agencies running Meta ads who need a ranked weekly creative test plan and execution-ready creative briefs. Birch is a rules engine, so it suits teams whose main job is executing pause, scale and budget conditions they already know.
Is Revealbot the same as Birch, and what does Birch cost in 2026?
Yes. Revealbot is now Birch (formerly Revealbot), and as of October 2026 its pricing page lists Essential at $49 a month and Pro at $99 a month for up to $10K of monthly ad spend, billed monthly. The tier is set by the total ad budgets across every ad account you connect (Meta, Google, Snapchat, TikTok).
The plan cards place "Automated rules and strategies" with Pro, along with Explorer, Launcher, custom metrics and the audience builder. Enterprise is custom-priced.
Birch says "12 months for the price of 11", which is $99 × 11 = $1,089 against $99 × 12 = $1,188 on Pro, an 8.3% saving. The annual toggle also shows a −20% label; the two do not match.
Birch offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card and unlimited access to all features. Once the trial ends, rules and reports are disabled until you pick a plan.
Which job are you short of: rules or a creative test plan?
You are short of rules if you can write your next decisions as fixed thresholds, and short of a creative test plan if you cannot say why you are testing what you test. Run these five checks on your last four weeks of ad work:
- Threshold test. Write your next three decisions as "if [metric] is [above or below] [number] over [days], then [action]". Pass: every blank has a number you trust. Fail: you cannot name the number or the action, as in "if the hook is weak, make a new one". A fail points to a decision problem, not a rules problem.
- Manual-repeat test. Count the pause, scale and budget changes you made by hand last week. Our rule of thumb: ten or more repeats of the same threshold is worth automating. Fewer than that, a tool will save you little.
- Platform and spend test. If you run Meta only, test Meta's built-in automated rules in Ads Manager for one week before paying for a tool. Pass: they cover your threshold decisions. If you also run Google, Snapchat or TikTok, a cross-platform rules tool fits better.
- Evidence test. List the creative tests you launched in the last four weeks and write the evidence for each in one line: a competitor ad, a customer comment, a past test result or your own performance data. Pass: every test has named evidence. Fail: more than a quarter of the tests you launched have no named evidence. That cutoff is our recommendation.
- Backlog test. Count the creative ideas waiting for production. To plan your test capacity, use our creative test capacity planner. Pass: your ideas are ranked, with a reason for the order. Fail: you have more ideas than your team can produce in two weeks and no ranking.
Scoring is our recommendation. Checks 1 to 3 decide whether you need rules. Checks 4 and 5 decide whether you need a creative test plan. If you fail check 4 or 5, a ranked plan is the missing piece whatever your rules setup. For the wider map of tool types, see our guide to the four product categories in Facebook ad automation.
Why choose Deepsolv over Birch for Meta creative decisions?
Choose Deepsolv when the question is what to test next, because our output is the answer to that question. Five reasons, each tied to a fact:
- We output a decision, not a report. Birch's Explorer tracks ad performance, spots creative fatigue (when an ad's results fall as the audience sees it repeatedly) and finds top assets. We turn evidence into a ranked weekly creative test plan. See why dashboards show the dip, not the next test.
- We combine four inputs. Ad-performance data, competitor activity, customer signals and past ad learnings feed one ranking, so the plan reflects the market and your own history. Our piece on creative analytics versus test planning explains the gap.
- Your creative team gets execution-ready creative briefs. A brief is the document a designer or video editor starts from. Our creative brief template shows the structure we build around one test.
- We serve creative teams as well as media buyers. Our customers are consumer brands, performance marketing teams, creative teams and agencies running Meta ads.
- Our data terms are plain. By default we keep customer data for the active subscription period plus 6 months after contract termination.
What jobs does Birch cover that Deepsolv does not?
Birch runs condition-based rules on Meta, Instagram, Google, Snapchat and TikTok, and its Hub does server-side tracking. These are execution jobs, not creative-planning jobs:
- Rules across platforms. Birch rules use nested conditions and custom metrics, offer 20+ actions, and can run as often as every 15 minutes. Its Birch AI feature converts a plain-language request into a rule.
- Server-side tracking. Birch Hub sends tracking events to Meta from a server rather than the browser, and offers a free tier of 10,000 events a month.
Our verdict
Deepsolv is the pick when the open question is which Meta creative to test next.
How we compared
We compared Deepsolv and Birch (formerly Revealbot) on core job, outputs, inputs, platforms, pricing and trial terms, using Birch's pricing, home and Explorer pages, Meta's Business Help Center and Deepsolv's own site, as of October 2026. The annual-billing saving is our arithmetic from Birch's listed prices. We did not compare Birch's tracking Hub in depth or test either product on a live account.
