Chicken Tikka Masala 🤍✨ This Mother’s Day, celebrating the comfort of a rich, creamy homemade meal that feels just like mom’s love 💕 Made this chicken tikka masala using @cuminco_india cast iron Dutch oven Comment link or 🔗 for product link INGREDIENTS: Marinade: • Boneless chicken - 700g • Thick curd - ½ cup • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp • Red chilli powder - 1 tsp • Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 tsp • Turmeric - ½ tsp • Garam masala - 1 tsp • Lemon juice - juice of ½ lemon • Salt - to taste • Oil - 1 tbsp Gravy: • Onion - 2 (finely chopped) • Tomato - 3 (pureed) • Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp • Butter - 1.5 tbsp • Red chilli powder - 1 tsp • Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 tsp • Coriander powder - 1 tsp • Cumin powder - ½ tsp • Salt - to taste • Sugar - 1 tsp • Fresh cream - ¼ cup • Kasuri methi - 1 tbsp METHOD: • Marinate the chicken with all marinade ingredients and rest for 30 minutes • Cook on high flame until excess water evaporates and chicken is slightly charred; set aside • Heat butter and oil, sauté onions until deep golden brown, then add ginger garlic paste and cook till raw smell disappears • Add tomato puree and cook until thick and oil separates, then add all dry spices and mix well • Add leftover marinade and cook for 2–3 minutes, then add cooked chicken and combine • Add hot water if needed and simmer for 8–10 minutes until gravy thickens • Finish with cream, kasuri methi and butter, simmer briefly and serve hot with naan, roti or rice . . . . . .
