The short answer
Divide each plan's monthly price by the number of competitors it lets you follow, because plan pages count brands, creatives, shops or credits. Deepsolv is the top pick for Meta brands and agencies that want a ranked weekly list of what to test. Write your list of real competitors before you compare prices.
About AdSpy
AdSpy is a searchable database of Facebook and Instagram ads. It charges one flat price of $149 a month.
- Monthly price
- $149 flat
- Platforms
- Facebook and Instagram
- Database
- 213,925,000+ ads
- Countries
- 225
What AdSpy does well
- A flat price that works out to $7.45 per competitor if you follow 20
- A database of 213,925,000+ ads across 225 countries
- Filters, comment search, demographic targeting data, affiliate-network and offer tracking, and landing-page analysis
Why buyers consider alternatives
- A flat $149 a month is hard to justify with a short competitor list: at 5 competitors it is $29.80 each.
- Scope stops at Facebook and Instagram, so TikTok, YouTube and Google coverage means a different tool.
- A searchable archive leaves the choice of what to test to you; turning finds into a ranked list of tests is manual work, whereas Deepsolv produces a ranked weekly test plan.

How to choose an alternative to AdSpy
- 1
Does the plan's unit match how many competitors you follow?
Pass: you can name the unit (brands, creatives, shops, credits) and compute price divided by your competitor count, as in the table above. Fail: the plan says "unlimited" and you cannot find the cap on the page. - 2
Are all the platforms you advertise on included in the plan you would buy?
Pass: every platform you run appears on that exact tier. Fail: you need TikTok and the tier that lists it costs more. TikTok appears on PowerAdSpy Palladium ($399) and BigSpy Growth ($159), not on their entry plans. - 3
Does the history reach back far enough for your category?
Pass: history covers the same period last year if your category is seasonal. Fail: Panoramata Startup keeps 6 months, which misses last Black Friday. For ordinary ads, Meta's Ad Library (https://transparency.meta.com/researchtools/ad-library-tools) covers active ads and documents long retention only for EU-delivered ads (one year after last impression) and political, electoral and social issue ads (seven years). Our Facebook Ad Library guide (link:facebook-ad-library) shows a weekly log to keep what you want. - 4
Can you read the cancellation and trial terms before you pay?
Pass: terms are written on a page you can open. Foreplay's states monthly plans cancel anytime and annual plans are non-refundable. PowerAdSpy's states cancellation anytime with access through the billing period. Fail: you cannot find how to cancel. - 5
Can you turn what you find into a test within a week?
Pass: from the output, you can write three test hypotheses, each with an angle and one success metric. Fail: you end the week with a bigger folder and no tests. Reading volume correctly helps (what competitor ad volume tells you, link:competitor-ad-volume-meaning), and so does a written hypothesis (A/B test hypothesis template, link:ab-test-hypothesis). We do this step in Deepsolv by ranking the week's ideas from your performance, your competitors' activity, customer signals and past learnings. Key takeaways
- Compare AdSpy alternatives by cost per tracked competitor. On monthly-billed plans with a stated brand cap it ran from $4.38 to $27.90 as of November 2026, against AdSpy's flat $149.
- Deepsolv is our top pick for Meta brands and agencies that want a ranked weekly list of what to test, not only a place to browse competitor ads.
- AdSpy covers Facebook and Instagram. TikTok, YouTube and other networks cost more on tools that list them (BigSpy Growth at $159, PowerAdSpy Palladium at $399).
- Check the cap on the exact tier: TikTok and other networks appear only on higher plans, as of November 2026.
What are the best AdSpy alternatives for Meta advertisers?
Our ranking, as of November 2026: Deepsolv first, for Meta brands and agencies deciding what to test. Then Foreplay, Atria, Panoramata, Minea, PowerAdSpy, BigSpy, WinningHunter and Dropispy. Meta's free Ad Library is the baseline under all of them.
An ad spy tool is software that searches or tracks other advertisers' live ads. Spyder is Foreplay's feature that follows a chosen brand's new ads. A shop is an online store a tool follows.
Pick by job:
- Browse an archive by keyword: choose from ranks 2 to 9.
- Follow named competitors: choose a tracker (Foreplay, Atria, Panoramata, WinningHunter).
- Decide what to test next: this is the job we built Deepsolv for.
Why compare ad spy tools by cost per tracked competitor instead of headline price?
Divide each plan's monthly price by the number of competitors it lets you follow, because plan pages count different things. As of November 2026, that gives $4.38 to $27.90 per tracked competitor on monthly-billed plans with a stated brand cap, against AdSpy's flat $149 a month. A tracked competitor here means one brand a tool follows continuously for you.
This is our model. Price per cap slot is the monthly price divided by the cap. Price per competitor if you follow 20 is the monthly price divided by 20, shown only where the cap is at least 20. Prices come from each company's pricing page, read in November 2026. WinningHunter's row uses its annual-billing price, so it sits outside the monthly range. AdSpy searches an archive rather than tracking brands, so its figure only shows what the flat price comes to if you use it to follow 20.
Spyder tracking is capped at 10 (Workflow) and 50 (Agency) brands on monthly billing and unlimited on annual billing, as of November 2026, according to Foreplay's pricing page (listed in the sources). Annual buyers of Foreplay therefore face no cap in this comparison.
BigSpy counts tracked creatives (100 on Starter, 500 on Growth), Minea counts shops and Dropispy counts credits, so we left them out of the arithmetic.
The flat price is not the problem people assume. At 20 competitors, AdSpy works out to $7.45 each, between Panoramata and Atria. At 5 competitors it is $29.80 each, which is hard to justify. Our recommendation: write your list of real competitors before you compare prices.

How we built this list
Candidates are the ad spy and competitor-tracking tools buyers compare with AdSpy, and each had to publish plan prices on its own pricing page. After Deepsolv, the order favors tools that help you act on an ad you found, then price. Figures are each plan's monthly price divided by its brand cap, read from each vendor's pricing page in November 2026. Deepsolv publishes this page and is one of the tools ranked.
